  3. Your list has a lot of books I missed as a kid and now have on my current to read list.

    Bernard Waber had a book called NOBODY IS PERFICK that I used to read over and over. I also liked: IRMA AND JERRY and HARRY CAT’S PET PUPPY by George Selden; THE TEDDY BEAR HABIT by James Lincoln Collier; CLARENCE THE TV DOG by Patricia Lauber; and anything Beverly Cleary wrote.

  7. I loved The Secret Garden and A Little Princess; also the Witch of Blackbird Pond. Other favorites were by Sally Watson: Witch of the Glens, Highland Rebel, Jade, and Lark.
