I did a Dr. Seuss story program for 2 and 3 year olds last week, a little early for scheduling reasons. We did stories, music and movement, and the kids made Cat in the Hat hats. It was a lot of fun. One of my favorites, which I did not do for this age group, is Fox in Socks, a real tongue twister. It's fun to read aloud, and I used to read it to my son. The stories for my toddler program, I shortened and adapted, including The Cat in the Hat. Pablo looks great!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Annie! Bet those kids looked adorable in their Cat-in-the-Hat hats!
ReplyDeleteThey did! They danced in them, and wore them going home!
